magazine and advertising assessment learner response

                                                                                                                                         mark= 16/30

1)Feedback: LR=Give specific examples of how tatler magazine persuades audience- see blog post revise this in the future.
Give more examples about each CSP for longer questions and comment using more media terminology for example Galaxy CSP could of mentioned todorov's narrative theory or propp's character theory. WWW. great analysis of how NHS blood campaign subverts/reinforces stereotypes of representation. understanding of how modern audiences may view 1950s print advert of OMO.

2) Q1: 1/1
    Q2: 1/1
    Q3: 3/8
    Q4: 2/2
    Q5: 5/6
    Q6: 4/12

3)Title of publication and the slogan

4)Tatler persuades their audience using,
Language: It will be snappy and "economical", with no wasted unnecessary words.
Direct address: Magazine covers frequently address their readers as "YOU" as if they were in             direct communication with them.
   Reveal  persuades their audience using,
price:They show 99p at the top left in the corner to show that its cheap.
Colour scheme: The colours reveal uses are bright and glamorous like pink red and white

5)One person who is famous in the NHS blood campaign is Kanya king who subverts the stereotype that women cant be a CEO or involved in business. Nicola Adams subverts the stereotype that women cant be strong by being a boxer. Lastly Ade Adepitan subverts the stereotype that if your disabled you cant do anything active yet he is a basket ball player.

6)The representation of women in the OMO advert is that women are housewives that only support men. They are also shown to enjoy their cleaning, cooking, etc. They treat the women almost like children as shown when it says "Actually Bright".

The representation of women in a galaxy advert is that they are treated like celebrities, glamorous and as a damsel in distress or as a heroine. She than becomes powerful and takes control as she takes the bus drivers hat and walks into the back of the mans car rather than sitting with him in the front seat.

The representation of women in the NHS campaign is that they are talented,  independent mentally and physically strong. This has changed the normalised stereotypes of women, we can see this as it is led by a female performer, black and asians are shown boxing leading companies as a CEO.
